Firms operating at the home textile sector met at BTSO (Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry). At the meeting which the President of the Board of Directors İbrahim Burkay joined, developments in the sector and the EVTEKS Fair to be held in İstanbul on 24th of April were discussed.
At his speech at the meeting to which representatives of the sector showed great interest, President Burkay said that firms of Bursa were pioneers of the home textile. İbrahim Burkay also expressed that with their projects they achieved great works helping the development of the sector and its position in the global competition. He also stated that their preparations for the KOBI OSB project which they hoped to bring to life at 4 different locations in Bursa continued. President Burkay also underlined that Professional Competence Certificate has been made for 6 professional groups in the textile sector which are Finishing Operations Operator, Painting Operator, Pre-finishing Operator, Yarn Finishing Works Operator, Spinning Operator, Pre-Spinning Operator. He also informed that MESYEB would soon start giving service to the related firms within this context. İbrahim Burkay also reminded that one of the most important meetings of home textile, EVTEKS (Istanbul International Home Textile Fair) would take place between 24th and 28th of April and exchanged views regarding the fair with the representatives of the sector.
