BTSO (Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry) has achieved a new organization to increase the exportation of the textile industry
BTSO (Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry) has achieved a new organization to increase the exportation of the textile industry. BTSO, which has united almost 16,000 foreign business people with the firms of Bursa, brought 360 foreign firm representatives from 36 countries to Bursa within the context of Commercial Safari Project.

BTSO which is the institution that conducts the most production development projects in Turkey with its 10 different Development of International Competitiveness Projects has conducted an important organization which will improve the exportation of companies. BTSO which united more than 600 foreign buyers with 3 different textile procurement committees, conducted a procurement committee program at the Merinos AKKM (Atatürk Congress Culture Center) under the roof of BURTEX, the institutional brand of the Textile Production Development Project. At the BURTEX- Fashion Fabric Show organization where more than 70 sector representatives from Bursa opened stands, members of Production Development Project led by BUTTIM joined, too.

 
4th PROCUREMENT COMMITTEE

 Vice President of the Board of Directors of BTSO, İsmail Kuş stated that this was the 4th textile procurement committee of BTSO and that Production Development Projects made great contributions to the exportation of Bursa.

 
360 BUSINESS PEOPLE FROM 36 COUNTRIES

İsmail Kuş remarked: “As BTSO we continue to bring value and vision to Bursa. Bursa is a textile city. We don’t aim to just make Bursa a production base but also an attraction center for fairs. We want our firms to reach a serious trade volume with our procurement committee programs. I would like to thank our Ministry of Economy, BUTTIM and the representatives of the sector.”

 
BTSO ALWAYS SUPPORTS US

President of BUTTIM Ali Tiryaki expressed that procurement committee program would increase the business volume of the textile sector and added: “As BUTTIM which contains almost 2,000 enterprises, this is our first Production Development project. We will continue this project focused on apparel fabrics with new organizations. I would like to thank BTSO which always supports our business world for their contributions.”

 
BURSA SILK MADE A DEBUT, TOO

After the speeches, protocol members visited the stands of the firms. The Trend Area where new collections of the firms were presented received great interest from the visitors and Bursa silk also made a debut. There was a presentation regarding silk carpet and other fabric products with the support of Bursa Kültür A.Ş.

 
CUSTOMERS FROM MEXICO AND USA CAME TO VISIT, TOO

There were visitors from Poland, Lithuania, Mexico, Ghana, Canada, South Africa, USA, England, Georgia, Holland, Serbia, Greece, France, Romance, Morocco, Algeria, UAE, Kirghizstan and Turkmenistan to the procurement committee program to which there was also a great demand mainly from Russia, Ukraine, Iran and North Africa countries.
