Bursal companies, the chief architect of the growth of the Turkish economy, continue to open to the world with the International Competitiveness Development
Bursal companies, which is the chief architect of the growth of the industry, continues to open to the world with the International Competitiveness Development (Ur-Ge) projects under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO). "We have to be strong in the global arena with value-added production and exports to enter the top 10 economies of the world," said BTSO Chairman Ibrahim Burkay, who expressed his commitment to the use of Bursa's companies, which reached TL 170 million with 10 Ur-Ge projects.
The production base of Turkey BTSO continues to carry out 10 Ur-Ge Projects in order to increase the value of the economy by macro projects and BTSO which is realized by its members in international arena. The Bursa business community, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, is benefiting from purchasing delegation for every Ur-Ge project prepared by the BTSO and supports amounting to TL 170 million for use in education, consultancy and promotion expenses. BTSO, which has successfully carried out Ur-Ge studies that strengthen the competitiveness of Bursa-based companies, is in this room with the highest number of Ur-Ge projects between Turkey's chambers and stock exchanges.
DIRECT SUPPORT TO APPROXIMATELY 300 COMPANIES
27 companies in the space, defense and aerospace sector, 28 companies in the railway systems, 73 companies in the 2 different baby-child confection sector, 28 companies in the machinery sector, 18 firms in the chemical sector, 35 firms in the textile sector and 29 companies in the food sector 28 companies in total, 29 companies in composite materials, 20 companies in renewable energy sector, directly benefit from Ur-Ge project. Ur-Ge programs organized in conjunction with the organization of foreign fair companies are increasing exports. Sector representatives had the opportunity to strengthen exports in 13 overseas organizations, including the USA, South Africa, Brazil, BAE, Azerbaijan, Germany, Bulgaria, Austria, Morocco and Russia.
TRADE TRANSACTIONS GROW TRADE
The organization of the buying delegation organized under Ur-Ge also allows companies to meet foreign businessmen. Last year 150 foreign company representatives from 20 countries participated in the purchase delegation organization held between May 31 and June 2 in the baby and children's clothing sector. The purchasing delegation organized for the textile sector also met with Bursa business world in 200 companies representatives from 23 countries in September.
EVERY 3 CONSIDERATIONS WITH 1 POSSIBLE RESULTS
The purchasing delegation under Ur-Ge is continuing its activities this year as well. A total of 650 job interviews were held in the organization that was attended by nearly 200 company representatives from 26 countries last month. While each firm performed an average of 13 job interviews, 1 out of every 3 interviews was positive. Within Ur-Ge projects that increase the competitiveness of bursaal firms, the address of the procurement committees will be Bursa from April 26th. Following the event to be held in the direction of the food sector representatives, textile in May and the purchase of baby and children's clothing apparels in July will strengthen the export-oriented growth of the sectors.

BTSO Chairman Ibrahim Burkay noted that Turkey is working to strengthen the competitive and exporter identity of the Bursa business world in line with export-oriented development goals. President Burkay stressed that the Global Fair Agency and Business Safari Project as well as the ongoing Ur-Ge projects are guiding the opening of Bursaal companies to the world. Explaining that the first Ur-Ge project for the baby and children's apparel industry is to increase the exports of the member firms by 116 percent, it is indicative of the success of the Ur-Ge project. İbrahim Burkay explained that these studies also led to new exporters.

Başkan Burkay, farklılığını ortaya koyan, etkin tanıtım ve pazarlama tekniklerine sahip olan firmaların avantajı da elinde bulundurduğunu vurguladı. Ur-Ge projeleriyle firmalar için öncelikle ihtiyaç analizi yapıldığını, akabinde sektörlerin yol haritalarının belirlenerek eğitim ve tanıtım faaliyetleri gerçekleştirildiğini vurgulayan Başkan Burkay, “Standartlara uyan değil, standartları belirleyen Bursa vizyonuyla şirketlerimizin dünyaya açılmasını istiyoruz. Ülke ve kent ekonomimizin ihracat ve katma değer odaklı büyümesi için daha çok çalışmalı ve üretmeliyiz. Ur-Ge projeleri de şirketlerimizin bu yolda ilerlemesinde yol gösteriyor. Ur-Ge projelerimize katılarak ekonomimizin büyümesine öncülük eden firmalarımızı kutluyorum” diye konuştu.

Ur-Ge Projesi üyesi firmalar da çalışmalardan oldukça memnun. Bebe ve çocuk konfeksiyonu sektörü temsilcisi Büşra Güvendik, Ur-Ge projesinin firmasının ihracatını artırdığını söyledi. Ur-Ge kapsamında düzenlenen alım heyetleri ve yurt dışı fuar organizasyonları sayesinde ihracatını yüzde 50 artırmayı başardığını ifade eden Güvendik, “Şirketimin yurt dışı açılmasında ve ihracatını artırmasında BTSO’nun yürüttüğü Ur-Ge çalışmaları büyük moral verdi. Sektörümüzün büyümesini sağlayan bu çalışmalarla firmalarımızın dünyaya açılmasının önü açılıyor” diye konuştu. BTSO Üyesi Salih Badur, mart ayındaki Tekstil Ur-Ge alım heyeti organizasyonuna firma olarak katıldığını belirterek, “BTSO’yu tebrik ediyorum. Görüştüğüm yabancı firmalar özellikle nitelikli alıcılardan oluşuyor Alım heyeti organizasyonu amacına ulaştı.” dedi.
